A national telecare service has re-launched with a new name and new offices following Sanctuary Group’s acquisition of Chester District Housing Trust last year.
Sanctuary365, formerly Chester Care, has begun operation at its new offices in Chester’s Northgate Street, and is providing support to clients across the country.
The service is staffed by highly trained and experienced call advisors who provide support to customers who have assistive technology, such as emergency pull cords and personal alarm pendants, and coordinate an appropriate response to any incidents or emergencies as they happen.
Sanctuary365’s head of assistive technology Kelly Miller said: “Telecare is a vital part of daily life for many of our clients and customers, as it provides the peace of mind of knowing that, should they need it, there will always be someone ready to provide immediate assistance, 24 hours a day.
“We’re looking forward to bringing the same high quality of service we provide across the rest of Sanctuary Supported Living to our Sanctuary365 clients.”
Sanctuary365 is being managed by Sanctuary Supported Living (SSL), a subsidiary of Sanctuary Group, and operates in a number of SSL retirement living, supported living and extra care schemes as well as to people living in their own homes.
The service has been platinum accredited by the Telecare Services Association (TSA), which is the industry body for telecare and telehealth, and the largest industry-specific network in Europe, for four years running.
Sanctuary 365 has been recognised for its compliance with the TSA’s Integrated Code of Practice for the fourth year running.
